• We are on a mission to enable the realisation of the basic human right to light, water and food. We are leveraging renewable technology and micro-financing best practices to kick start socio-economic growth for the world’s least privileged in rural off-grid areas.
• As a social entrepreneurship for profit,we apply sustainable technology to the benefit of the world’s poorest in a way that creates financial benefits for our investors, measurable life changing impetus for our customers and measurable positive impact on the environment in which we operate.

We align ourselves with two international initiatives: the World Bank’s Lighting Africa initiative which aims to provide light to 250M people by 2030 and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals which aim to eradicate poverty, hunger, disease, maternal and child deaths and other illness by 2015.
